Speak Easy ... Overcome the Number One Fear!

Overview

Your mouth is dry. Your hands are wet. Your knees are knocking. And, horror of horrors, your mind just went blank. Relax! You have lots of company. Speaking in front of people is the Number One Fear. (The fear of death ranks seventh.) However, knowing it and doing something about it are two different things. This workshop helps you with the latter so you can better communicate what you know to benefit you and others. And, when you can articulate it clearly, the benefits are even greater. This interactive workshop helps you pinpoint your specific fear(s). You also learn to craft a talk from beginning to end with the goal of turning each presentation opportunity into a pleasant, profitable experience!

Participants Will Learn to

  • Define and deal with personal fears
  • Determine objectives and main messages for any presentations
  • Identify your audience
  • Decide on visual aids and how to use them
  • Prepare a presentation
  • Choose your preferred (and most effective) presentation style
  • Turn adrenaline from anxiety into energy
  • Polish your presence
  • "Punctuate" presentations
  • Handle "Qs and As"

Who Should Attend

Brave, eager and determined people who know it’s not only what you know, it’s how well you communicate what you know.
